Best cloud security platforms of 2026 for fast multi-cloud coverage

Short answer

We rank nine CNAPPs on one question: which gets a multi-cloud estate to full workload visibility fastest, without rolling out agents first. On our published weights Orca Security leads at 9.09, with Wiz close behind at 9.03. The leader on coverage is not the leader on everything: runtime-first platforms score higher on runtime depth, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud publishes the fullest price list, including a free tier.

Which question are you asking?

What does this site measure, and what not?

We score how quickly and how deeply each platform can see workloads across many clouds, plus four criteria that decide what you get after that first view. The facts come from public vendor pages read in September 2026 and updated on 11 October 2026. Vendor figures are quoted with their source and labelled as the vendor's claim. We did not run the products.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best cloud security platform for multi-cloud coverage in 2026?

On our published weights Orca Security scores 9.09 and Wiz scores 9.03 out of 10. The order depends on the question: these weights favor agentless reach across many clouds. With equal weights across the seven criteria, Wiz scores 8.87 and Orca 8.67.

Which CNAPP covers the most clouds?

Orca Security and Aqua Security each name seven of our eight environments. Orca names six public clouds, including Tencent, plus on-premises for its sensor; Aqua names AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle and Alibaba plus private and disconnected environments. Cortex Cloud names five public clouds.

Can I get full coverage without installing agents?

For posture and much of the workload, yes: Orca, Wiz and SentinelOne lead with agentless scanning. Runtime detection and blocking still need a sensor or agent on every platform here.
